Ehlathini Game lodge is a place of refined African charm, where nature envelops you while relaxing at your own pace. Pronounced as "Eg-la-ti-ni" and meaning "in the bush," our Lodge is situated on a high rock outcropping overlooking the expanse of the bushveld. This elevated position offers not only views of the bush but also a lighted waterhole with an abundance of wildlife and breathtaking sunsets over the Waterberg Mountains.
Ehlathini Rooms & Chalets
Ehlathini Game Lodge offers first-class, luxury accommodation. The Lodge has a large dining area that opens to an expansive pool and patio area, looking out over an elevated view of the bushveld. There is a bar located on the second floor of the Lodge with another patio and TV lounge overlooking the bush. The Lodge also boasts three private rooms, each opening onto an outdoor passageway overlooking the pool and garden. Each of the rooms is uniquely appointed with a different theme: the Zebra Room, the Lion Room, and the Leopard Room.
As you walk from the Lodge down our stone pathways and manicured grounds, you will come to our three private Chalets. Each Chalet has its own unique characteristics with private patios offering views of the bushveld and water hole. The Nguni Chalet, the Bushman Chalet, and God’s Window Chalet. These chalets are the perfect place for a romantic getaway or those that just want additional privacy.
Each room and chalet is equipped with a shower, bar fridge, tea and coffee station, hairdryer, bath towels, linen, ceiling fan, and warm blankets for cooler evenings. We also have air conditioning in the Chalets and Leopard Room. Free WIFI is available in the property, and laundry services are offered to our guests.
The patio, with tables and chairs, is the perfect spot to enjoy meals while watching animals at the watering hole or listening to birds in the garden. Relax and unwind while sipping on your favorite hot or cold beverage. Guests can also enjoy one of our three bomas (fire pits) on the grounds used for cooking game (braai), entertaining guests, sharing stories of the day, and enjoying a beverage of your choice. These bomas provide three unique looks, but both share unbelievable views of the African sky filled with millions of sparkling stars.
Our game drives offer opportunities to observe an array of birdlife, giraffe, zebra, kudu, blue wildebeest, and other antelope species up close. Stargaze under the crisp and clear night sky, where you can almost touch the Southern Cross and Orion's Belt.
